Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 January 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov held a phone conversation with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanichbek Omuraliev.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the OTS in the context of the implementation of agreements reached following the Astana summit.

The parties discussed the implementation of initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the Organization, as well as preparations for events planned for the current year.
