Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Thick fog limited the operation of Tashkent airport, as a result of which several flights were redirected to alternate airfields.

Flight HY602 of Uzbekistan Airways (Moscow - Tashkent) and flight HY708 (Vladivostok - Tashkent) headed to the alternate airfield in Samarkand.

Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9613 (Moscow - Tashkent) landed at Urgench, and Rossiya Airlines flight SU6971 (Tashkent - St. Petersburg) landed at the Fergana alternate airfield.

Flights 5P5366 and 5P362 of Panorama Airways (Medina - Tashkent) also went to an alternate airfield in Samarkand.

In addition, Jazeera Airways flight J9653 from Kuwait was diverted to an alternate airfield in Namangan due to unfavorable weather conditions at Osh airport (Kyrgyzstan).
