Denis Istomin defeats Lukas Lacko to clinch quarterfinal spot in New Haven

Uzbekistan’s top tennis player Denis Istomon outplayed Lukas Lacko of Slovenia in three sets and booked place in quarterfinals of Pilot Pen Tournament, which is taking place in New Haven (USA).
In the first set, Denis Istomin won – 6/2, while lost the second to Lukas Lacko with the same score.
In the final set, Istomin made a break, which was enough for him to claim the victory both in set and the match – 6/3.
The match lasted for one hour and 48 minutes. During the match, Istomin made 14 aces against four of Lukas Lacko. Istomin made two double faults against four of Lacko.
In quarterfinals, Denis Istomin will play against Russia’s Teymuraz Gabashvili.
