The committee said the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted the resolution, which envisages organization of competition on selection of investors for creation of private operators on collecting payments for used electricity from population and enterprises.

The committee said competitions will be held in nine district of Uzbekistan in September-December - Tashkent city (Shayhantahur district), Tashkent region (Yangiyul city), Syrdarya region (Gulistan city), Ferghana region (Kokand city), Andijan region (Andijan city), Jizzakh region (Jizzakh city), Samarkand region (Samarkand city), Namangan region (Namangan city) and Karakalpakstan (Nukus city).
