State Committee on Demonopolization, Support of Competition and Entrepreneurship of Uzbekistan

State Committee on Demonopolization, Support of Competition and Entrepreneurship of Uzbekistan revealed about 873 cases on consumer rights’ protection law infringements in nine months of 2008.

The committee said the cases were discovered during monitoring of the activity of business entities, trade companies, medical and service establishments, as well as communal service providers.

The committee said that these law breach facts were worth 311.3 million soums. It added that damages for 102.5 million soums were compensated to the consumers in established order.
