Delegation of Vietnam holds talks at Uzbekneftegaz
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Vietnam led by the co-chairperson of the Uzbek-Vietnamese intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation and First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Danh Vinh visited Uzbekneftegaz national holding company.
The sides positively rated exploration works at Kossar investment block in Ustyurt region, which is conducted in cooperation with Petrovietnam.
It was said that Petrovietnam started seismic exploration works. Results of field works showed high perspectives of block, especially palaeozoic deposits. In the middle of 2012, it is planned to drill first exploration well.
It was said that the sides are developing agreement on investment project “Joint study of palaeozoic deposits at separate areas of Bukhara-Khiva region”.
The guests expressed assurance that the joint work will give fruitful results.
