The State Property of Uzbekistan and the Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany signed a memorandum on cooperation in Berlin on 26 November 2009. The sides along with the German Bureau of International Cooperation signed an agreement on cooperation in Tashkent on 15 February 2011.

Indecon consulting (Germany) was attracted to implement these documents, to study and summarize foreign experience on management of state assets and corporate management. Currently, the Uzbek side and Indecon consulting are developing a draft law “On management of the state property”.

During the meeting, the German side presented their experience in reforming railway industry in Germany and management of state interests in strategic objects. Besides, the German side presented information experience, legislation, goals and tasks of state property management.

It was noted that the meeting will serve for further improving quality and efficiency of the management of state property, including package of shares in charter capitals of the companies, real estate, as well as state enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan.
