The delegation included representatives of Uzbekistan Credit Unions’ Association, as well as heads of three credit unions, members of the association.
Larisa Yurikova, deputy chairperson of Supervisory Council of Uzbekistan Credit Unions’ Association and chairperson of the Council of Lastocka credit union (Navoi city) delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the forum.
During her speech, Yurikov noted that development of financial cooperation in Russia and Uzbekistan has some common side and she called for cooperation among credit unions of two states to improve legislative base and development of credit unions.
She also briefed forum participants about experience of Uzbekistan on formation of legal base for credit unions operation, development of credit unions, etc.
The forum was aimed at discussing actual and important issues for credit cooperation in the Russian Federation.
During the plenary sessions, participants discussed legal bases of credit unions operation, improvement of legislation and development of credit unions, self regulating organizations, regional associations, etc.
