Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held in Abu Dhabi, both sides signed a number of strategically important documents aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.

Key signed documents include:

• Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership
• Agreement on Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments at the Intergovernmental Level
• Agreement on Financial and Technical Cooperation
• Agreement on Cooperation in Standardization, Metrology, and Conformity Assessment

Additionally, interdepartmental agreements were signed on cooperation in key sectors such as:

• Investments
• Industry and Advanced Technologies
• Justice
• Agriculture and Food Security
• Mineral Extraction

Furthermore, the following agreements were signed:

• Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Culture
• Agreement on Cooperation Between Diplomatic Academies

These agreements are aimed at strengthening economic, technical, and cultural ties between the two countries, opening up new opportunities for joint projects.
