Days of Japanese culture takes place in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Days of Japanese culture started at Memorial Park-Museum named after Kamoliddin Behzod of Uzbekistan Art Academy on 22 April 2013.

The events are organized by Uzbekistan Art Academy and International Culture Caravan Serai of Ikua Hirayama at the assistance of Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development (UJC).

During the Days of Japanese culture, International Culture Caravan Serai of Ikua Hirayama will hold master classes on wearing kimono and on xylography, which can be attended by all interested people. It is also planned to hold a concert of classic vocal “Melody of Great Silk Road”.

It is also planned to hold master classes on Japanese language and calligraphy. Any interested person can learn calligraphy under guidance of experience master.

Memorial Museum named after Kamoliddin Behzod hosts exhibition “100 famous types of Edo”, which presents over 40 types of xylography of famous painter Hirosuge Utagava and “Japanese kimano”.

Days of Japanese culture will be held till 26 April 2013.
