Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The damage to Uzbekistan Airways caused by an emergency landing at Pulkovo airport (St. Petersburg) due to a violent passenger is estimated at US$22,200. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Security on objects of transport and tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The incident occurred on 11 December, when a plane flying from New York to Tashkent made an emergency landing in St. Petersburg due to a violent passenger.
