A delegation of Czech Republic led by Deputy Foreign Ministry Jaroslav Bašta held negotiations with Uzbek officials on 4 May.

The delegation carried out talks with representatives of Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan. The sides noted that relations between states in political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres are developing gradually.

The officials exchanged opinion on current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Czech relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Czech delegation also held talks with representatives of Senate (upper house) of Oliy Majlis (parliament), Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
