During the meeting, the sides discussed important issues of further developing cooperation between two countries.

It was noted that Uzbekistan possesses rich cultural heritage and successfully develops in various directions. Uzbekistan is becoming high developed country. It was said Uzbekistan and Turkey could develop relations in culture, art and sports.

It was underlined that the sides can implement projects in museum affairs, restoration of monuments, exchange concerts and others.

Guest from Turkey proposed to develop and sign a three-year agreement on cooperation, which could envisage implementation various events. Turkish minister also said the countries could develop mutual tourism exchange.

Ertuğrul Günay said that he arrived in Uzbekistan with great hopes for development of cooperation and his plans are coming true. He said that the delegation had successful negotiations with leaders of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs and Uzbektourism.

Turkish minister said that Uzbek artists should organize concerts in Turkey and Turkish artists in Uzbekistan. He also said he was impressed with the visit to Tashkent, which changed significantly.
