Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A meeting between Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture of the UAE, and Gayane Umayeva, Chair of the Arts and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, served as a fruitful platform to discuss key issues of cultural cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening cultural ties and exchanging experiences.

Special attention was given to the successful hosting of the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) in Tashkent, which became a vital platform for professionals in the arts and creative economy. The participation of UAE representatives in the event was highly appreciated, highlighting the significance of cooperation between the two nations.

The discussion also included the participation of art historians and calligraphers from the UAE in the Bukhara Biennale. This collaboration aims to deepen cultural exchange and mutual enrichment of experiences between the UAE and Uzbekistan.

To conclude the meeting, the participation of Uzbekistan in the selection for the Al-Burda exhibition in Dubai in 2025 was discussed. This opportunity will allow Uzbek artists and cultural figures to showcase their work on an international stage and gain new experiences.
