Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution on measures to attract funds from the European Investment Bank as part of the project "Improving the energy efficiency of industrial enterprises" with the participation of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development was adopted.
In accordance with the resolution, loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 100 million euros will be allocated to finance investment projects for the acquisition of energy-efficient equipment and the introduction of energy-saving technologies.
Unless otherwise agreed with the EIB, the amount of credit provided by one organization with an EIB loan cannot exceed US$10 million, and the amount of credit provided to industrial enterprises in one industry cannot exceed US$30 million.
