Credit Standard Bank launches two mini banks in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Credit Standard Bank open joint stock commercial bank opened new mini banks in Tashkent city. Mini banks were opened at the territories of Tashkent Airport and Uzgeotehliti scientific-research institute.

Mini bank “Tashkent Airport” located at the closed zone of Tashkent airport and it will serve only Tashkent Airport and its staff. Mini bank “Uzgeotehliti” will render full banking services to legal entities and individuals.

The bank said the mini banks will render such services as:

  • receiving payments for communal services, services of telephone and Internet providers;
  • putting and withdrawing cash form plastic cards;
  • opening deposits;
  • carrying out transactions and others.
In line with the strategy of the Bank, the development of full-scale retail business is one of priority directions of the Credit Standard Bank.

In 2008, the Credit Standard Bank opened two mini-banks in Samarkand region. It is planning to open Tashkent Region Branch, Mirabad District Branch in Tashkent city, Bukhara branch and new headquarters.

Credit Standard Bank was founded on 16 August 2003 with the charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. The bank’s headquarters is located in Tashkent. The assets made up 320.621 billion soums as of 1 October 2009 and own capital reached 31.958 billion soums.

As of 1 December 2009, the bank has three branches and 14 mini banks.
