Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The head of the Acwa Power project, focusing on the training of qualified personnel in Uzbekistan, visited the "Uzelttehsanoat" Association.
Jahongir Jamalov, Deputy Chairman of the Association, held talks with representatives of the foreign company, discussing cooperation in training specialists for large energy projects implemented by Acwa Power in Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the activities of the Eltech-Malaka training center located within the association, as well as the conditions for training. They met with instructors and students of the recently launched training courses.
In addition, they were shown the work of the Eltechlab laboratory, also located within the association.
Foreign partners highly appreciated its activities and noted that they have plans and investments aimed at training qualified specialists for Uzbekistan’s energy sector. They expressed their willingness to continue cooperation with the association in this field.
For their part, the association representatives emphasized the high demand for qualified personnel in local electromechanical enterprises and expressed interest in partnership.
At the end of the visit, the parties agreed to continue their joint cooperation in the training of personnel for the energy sector.
