Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Meetings were held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade with the heads of the Turkish companies Betlis Textile and Quadro Marmara Group operating in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Betlis Textile enterprise, which is part of the Best Group company, established in 2006, operates in the field of textile production in Tashkent region. The Best Group includes 9 companies with about 4,000 employees. The company's annual export value is 30-35 million dollars.

The company "Quadro Marmara Group" implements projects in the field of intensive horticulture and export of fruits and vegetables in the Tashkent region. So far, the company has attracted US$12 million in investments and planted 669,000 fruit trees.

During the meetings, Turkish investors highly appreciated the consistent reforms carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the attention of the state to the problems and issues of entrepreneurs and the favorable investment climate created in our country.

Following the results of the meetings, readiness was expressed to take appropriate measures to address the issues that investors face in the course of their activities and create conditions for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkish investors and Uzbek partners.
