Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 May, a delegation led by Director General of the Bureau for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Colonel Dana Humaid visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

As part of the visit of the delegation headed by Dana Khumayd, a meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs headed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major General A. Ikramov on issues of interdepartmental cooperation

At the meeting, Deputy Minister A. Ikramov spoke about the activities of the system of internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan, the reforms carried out in the system and their results, he also noted the development of cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries in recent years.

In turn, Ms. Dana Humaid expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that relations between the two countries have been developing in recent years, which creates an opportunity to get acquainted with the system of internal affairs bodies of Uzbekistan.

During the event, issues such as the current state of bilateral cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries, strengthening the legal framework, the fight against transnational crime and the exchange of experience in these areas were considered, as well as training courses for training personnel and improving their skills were discussed. .

At the end of the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue, the parties noted with satisfaction that relations of mutual cooperation are developing and expressed their readiness to intensify work in this direction.
