Contest on reading in German languages held in Uzbek capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- German Embassy in Uzbekistan and German Reading Room of Tashkent city Library named after L. Tolstoy held a competition for the best reading in German language.

Representatives of the secondary schools and academic lyceums of Tashkent, Margilan, Ferghana, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, and Nukus participated at the contest.

Schools and lyceums selected 35 participants, who should read prepared and unknown text in Germany.

The winners of the competition were awarded with valuable prizes.
