CONTACT system cuts money transfer fees for some CIS states
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
From 1 April 2014 money payment system introduced new tariffs in Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine to the CIS states, which start from 0.2% from the remittance sum.
The system said that the commission fee was cut by 50% average and is set between 0.2% and 1.3% based on sum of transaction and destination. The maximum of the remittance rose to 600,000 rubles or US$20,000 or 20,000 euros.
Currently, the system has about 26,000 points in CIS area. The remittance can be received in any remittance point in the country of destination.
