Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan Fariddin Nasriev was awarded the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan.

This award was presented in connection with his fruitful cooperation with Tatarstan and significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region.

The head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented the diplomat with this order as part of a meeting dedicated to the completion of his diplomatic mission in Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted Nasriev’s important contribution to the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan, expressing wishes for success in his future career.

Fariddin Nasriev, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support from the head of Tatarstan during his diplomatic activities as Consul General.
