Construction of three new metro stations is nearing completion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At present, the Kuprikkurilish Trust unitary enterprise (subordinate to Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC) and qualified specialists from a number of other involved units are intensively working on the 2nd stage of construction of the metro on an 8.5-kilometer section "Kuylik - Construction".

Currently, three metro stations are constructed. On the section from the 7th to the 10th station, all fundamental works have been fully completed, 8 km 700 m of new railway lines have been laid in both directions. 

Stations 7, 8, 9 and 10 are located along the Tashkent ring road and run through Mirabad and Sergeli districts. Here all reinforced concrete works are completed and the rails are laid. Each station consists of 2 floors. On the first one there are service and technical premises, a first-aid post and ticket offices, on the second one there is a station platform with a total length of 105 meters.

The surroundings of the stations are also being landscaped and landscaped, ornamental plants and flowers are planted here.

About 2,650 qualified engineers and workers were involved in the construction of the 2nd stage of the Tashkent elevated ring line of the metro, 116 units of special equipment, machines and mechanisms were involved. Three hot meals a day are organized at construction sites.

It should be noted that the control over the quality of construction work is carried out by specialists of the State Inspectorate for Architectural and Construction Supervision, as well as the Inspectorate "Ozdavtemirulnazorat". According to experts, by the end of this year, it is planned to complete the construction of 5 stations on the Kuylik-Building section.
