Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On the next conscription of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for compulsory military service and the transfer to the reserve of the armed forces of military personnel who have served the established terms of service.”

According to the document, in March-April, citizens of military age who do not have the right to a deferment or exemption from conscription will be sent to compulsory military service.

The mobilization conscription reserve will include citizens fit for military service, including those with restrictions, and who do not have the right to a deferment or exemption from it, but who are not conscripted for another term in the Armed Forces.

The President also ordered in March-April to transfer military personnel who have served the prescribed period to the reserve of the Armed Forces.
