Concern Tractor Plants ready to invest into economy of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Machinery-industrial holding “Concern Tractor Plants” (Russia) demonstrated its readiness to invest into economy of Uzbekistan and share advanced Russian technologies in machinery within the Fourth International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, which took place on 26-30 October 2010.

Sale companies of the concern – CHETRA-Industrial Machines and Agromashholding-Tashkent –presented industrial and agriculture equipment, oil and gas equipment, as well as a project on joint production in territory of Uzbekistan.

Products of the Russian company attracted interest of the visitors, representing various industries of Uzbekistan, state companies, ministries and association.

Within the presentation of the investment project, it was discussed perspectives of cooperation with Uzbekistan for 2010, exchange of information technologies, further expansion of trade and business relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan is one of key markets of Tractor Plants and the company participated in implementation of large projects. Russian equipment are used in large companies of Uzbekistan such as Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK), Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK), Uzbekenergo, Uzbekugol, Uzbekneftegaz, Uztransgaz, etc.

For last five years, the Russian company delivered 83 units of industrial equipment, 2,207 units of agriculture equipment, which created quality foundation for partnership relations with businesses of Uzbekistan.

Vice-president of holding Nataliya Partasova said that the products of the holding attracted interest of fair visitors. She added that the company is currently in talks on supply of heavy tractors to NGMK and AGMK, Uzbekneftegaz. The talks are underway on supply of agriculture tractors, grain harvesters and communal equipment.

Partasova said that this format of cooperation between Russian and Uzbek sides has great perspectives. She said that the participants of the fair could sign direct agreements without long bureaucratic procedures.
