Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 31 October, Tashkent Invest is launching an open international competition for the design of four entrance gates to the capital of Uzbekistan.

The new gates are planned to be installed at the urban posts of Rohat, Bektemir, Erkin, and Uchkupramon.

“This project will be a significant step in transforming Tashkent, where modernity will harmoniously blend with traditional elements. We hope to begin construction this year,” the company emphasized.

The competition is open to all interested parties, including both local and foreign participants.

“You can join creative teams by forming groups that include professionals from Uzbekistan,” the company added.

To participate, applicants must submit their entries by 7 November to the email address: info@tashkentinvest.com.

Finalists will be announced on 11 November, with winners revealed on 30 November.

The company noted that the competition is being held in accordance with UNESCO recommendations. The winners will receive cash prizes: the first-place winner will receive 100 million soums, the second-place winner will get 50 million soums, and the third-place winner will receive 30 million soums.
