Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 March, a road accident occurred in Dangara district of Ferghana region, which resulted in the death of two people. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

A 27-year-old driver driving a Cobalt hit 5 pedestrians walking on the side of the road. The car then collided with a tree.

As a result of the accident, two pedestrians died at the scene. Three were hospitalized.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that a criminal case has been opened in this case.
