CNPC and Uzbekneftegaz to jointly develop Mingbulak field
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has signed agreements with Uzbek National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz concerning joint actions to increase exploration and increase oil and gas production in Mingbulak Field in Uzbekistan and expand China-Uzbek relations. CNPC released on 1 July.
Both sides are jointly building the China - Uzbekistan gas pipeline with dual parallel lines. Construction on the Uzbek section was started in June 2008. The first line is scheduled for completion by the end of 2009.
