Citizens begin to receive information about accrued income tax via SMS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Citizens of Uzbekistan receive information about accrued income tax via SMS, the Tax Committee said.

The committee reminds that taxpayers must submit a declaration of total annual income to the tax authority at their place of residence no later than 1 April.

If an individual does not submit a declaration within the prescribed period, the tax authority has the right to assess tax based on the information available to it. The amount of accrued tax is sent to taxpayers in the form of SMS notifications.

Notifications for taxpayers who have not submitted an income tax return by 1 April of the current year (income from the sale of real estate, inheritance from persons other than close relatives) contain information about the accrued tax amount.

At the end of the SMS there are links Batafsil (Details) and To‘lash (Pay). By clicking on “Details”, a payment notification with information about income, tax, contact telephone number of the tax authority and other information is downloaded.

By clicking on “Pay”, the Soliq mobile application opens, where you can make a payment. If the application is not installed, it can be downloaded through the appropriate platform.

If there is an income tax benefit, you must send a declaration indicating the benefit through the website my3.soliq.uz.
