Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- 27-year-old N.A., who lives in the city of Kokand, Ferghana region, having filed a statement, explained that an unknown person had stolen money in the amount of 2,300,000 soums from him, which he transferred for the purpose purchasing an online ticket. This was reported by the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of the operational-search activities, the offender was identified. It turned out to be 33-year-old B.Kh., who lives in Rishtan district of Ferghana region.

As it became known, B.Kh. introduced himself as N.A. in a telephone conversation with the owner of an account on a social network and said that he had an air ticket to the city of Sochi in the Russian Federation, for which money had to be paid in advance. He achieved that money in the amount of 2.300.000 soums was transferred to his card, which he spent for personal needs.

With regard to B.Kh., who committed the crime, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On the basis of the law, for the criminal acts of B.Kh. punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
