President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev said aim of the single economic area in CIS is to create single market of goods, services and capital.

Nazarbaev said it is necessary to stir up integration process with the European Union. He said that the EU-CIS Forum could serve as organizational base for realization of this new approach.

He said the forum’s aim is to ensure mechanism for construction of dialogue, effective coordination of integration processes in CIS area, RIA Novosti reported.

Kazakh head suggested to add one global issue to agenda of CIS states a year. He said the agenda should be formed from issues, which touches interests of all members.

Nazarbaev said CIS experience stagnation as organization in inexistence of real achievements and there is no other alternative to long-term perspective of regional cooperation.
