CIS states agree to expand of national currency use in mutual trade
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreed to expand use of national currencies in mutual trade, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said after the session of the CIS Finance Ministers Council.

He said the country are working over that central banks’ policies and mutual work regime allow to use of national currencies. Kudrin said the states should execute several technical issues.

Russian official said the sides should create currency quotation system, which would allow to simplify settlements with national currencies.

The CIS finance ministers also considered issues on improving mutual trade and strengthening financial sector through attracting financial resources of international institutions, EurAsEC Anti-crisis Fund and placement of securities in international markets, the Russian media reported.
