CIS PMs to hold meeting in Belarus
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Council of Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will hold a session in Minsk, Belarus, on 30 May 2014.

It is expected that the CIS Prime Ministers will consider over 20 draft documents on various directions of cooperation.

In particular, it is planned to consider implementation of interstate programme of innovative cooperation of the CIS member states till 2020 and a complex of measures on its implementation in 2012-2014, the Executive Committee of the CIS said in a statement.

PMs will sign an agreement, regulating cooperation in interstate exchange of scientific0technical information and information interaction of the CIS member states in ensuring transport security.

The sides will also determine measures on developing of cooperation in radio navigation and hydrometeorology in near future, as well as introduce changes to rules on determining country of origin of the goods.

At the same time, the Prime Ministers will discuss several issues of cooperation in humanitarian sector. The measures on developing national sports in the CIS, fighting with spread of foot-and-mouth disease in the CIS will be developed as well.

Several educational establishments will receive status of basic organizations within the CIS at the session of the council.

In the sphere of the security in the CIS area, it is planned to consider issues related to returning under-ages to the states, where they live, liquidation of consequences of emergency situations, survey and navigation support of armed forces, as well as cooperation of engineering armed forces of the CIS in re-mining.

The CIS Prime Ministers will assess cooperation within interstate council of anti-trust policy and Council on cultural cooperation of the CIS.

The Prime Ministers will adopt several decisions of financial and cadre character.
