The CIS Executive Committee said in a statement that the council will discuss preparation of energy bodies of the CIS states to work in autumn-winter period and draft document on formation of common electricity market.

The body will consider a draft feasibility study on synchronous system interconnection of the CIS and Baltic states with energy bodies of UCTE (Union for the co-ordination of transmission of electricity) and cooperation with EURELECTRIC.

The council will review draft module agreements on cooperation of the CIS states in use of hydro energy resources of transborder rivers and reservoirs, ensuring security of hydraulic structures and other issues.
