Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture between representatives of the Chinese companies Wellhope and Qinghai Jiangheyuan Investment Group, where the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and the implementation of new projects.

Both sides highlighted the dynamic growth of Uzbek-Chinese relations, particularly in cotton farming, seed production, and innovative technologies. Special attention was given to the introduction of Chinese seeds and Xinjiang technologies on Uzbekistan’s cotton fields in 2024, marking a significant step forward for the sector.

Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to expand cooperation with China in livestock breeding, fruit and vegetable processing, and other agricultural sectors. In turn, representatives of the Chinese companies confirmed their strong interest in partnership.

During the talks, projects were presented on feed production, poultry farming, dairy production, and dairy processing.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides outlined specific steps for further cooperation.
