It said that welcoming the guest, the Uzbek president said: "We consider your visit as a continuation of a meeting we had with Chinese President Mr Hu Jintao in Yekaterinburg. I highly rate frank and trustful talks we had with the Chinese president and would like to briefly touch upon principle issues we discussed”.

“The Uzbek side stressed the firmness of our strong stance on supporting the fight against three evils - separatism, extremism and terrorism. We, here in Uzbekistan, very highly rate and satisfied with all-round dynamic development of China, first of all in regards of economy, its growing prestige in solving political and global issues, as well as the position China stably holds nowadays as a whole. It is especially important that during a difficult situation the global economy got into, China finds so-called most optimal solutions and it will be one of the first to weather this situation”, the Uzbek head said.
