China Development Bank to issue US$37.2m to Uzbek ICT projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
China Development Bank will provide loans worth US$37.2 million to implementation of projects in information-communication technologies (ICT).
In particular, Chinese bank will issue US$10 million to implement the project on connection of 200 colleges to “Electronic Education” network.
National communication operator Uzbektelecom joint stock company will attract US$18.19 million to development of CDMA-405 mobile network. The project cost is US$18.19 million.
China Development Bank will also allocate Uzbektelecom loan for US$9.01 million to introduce fiber-optic technology FTTx.
