The ranking was compiled by the online hotel booking service Oktogo.ru and based on early booking, made for upcoming New Year holidays.

Chimgan took the ninth place in Top-10 mountain resorts of the CIS states, which are popular among Russian tourists.

According to the ranking, Chimgan is one of the most economic place for winter rest in the CIS territory.

Top-10 includes Chimbulak (Kazakhstan), Tsakhgadzor (Armenia), Logoysk (Belarus), Karakol (Kyrgzystan), Gudauri (Georgia), Bukovel (Ukraine), Bakuriani (Georgia), Altai Alps (Kazakhstan), Chimgan (Uzbekistan) and SIlichi (Belarus).

According to Oktogo.ru, the most budget mountain resorts are Logoysk and Silichi. The travelers will spend US$47 a day. Chimbulak is the most expensive (US$95).

The budget of rest for one day includes cost of accommodation in cheap hotel, dinner in café and ski-pass. The budget of rest in Chimgan is US$51.
