Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbekistan Football Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, holds mini-football festivals under the motto "Kelajagimiz umidlari" among schoolchildren.

The festival was held in Khorezm. Pupils from third and fourth grade secondary schools took part in the festive event, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association said.

The purpose of the festivals is to attract children to football, to popularize football in our country, to select talented children from general education schools and to send them to football schools.

Following the event, the ceremony of awarding participants with prizes and certificates from the Uzbekistan Football Association and the regional Football Association of Khorezm region was held.
