Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pilot lessons of chess will be introduced into mandatory curriculum of 150 general schools of Uzbekistan.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution "On additional measures on development of chess in Uzbekistan".

Uzbek leader entrusted the Ministry of Public Education and Chess Federation to approve educational progamme on training of chess at schools.

The resolution underlined that the chess lessons will be introduced in all schools of Uzbekistan stage-by-stage.

Uzbek leader handed over Republican Special Children Sport School on chess to Chess Federation.

President set an order, according to which all chess clubs and institutions, teaching chess, should undergo accreditation at the Chess Federation.
