Charity weddings take place in Bukhara region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 19-20 June, Bukhara region received regional stage of charity project “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-toys”, which is conducted by Fund Forum, Women’s Council, Mehr Nuri Foundation and Social Initiatives Support Fund.
Fund Forum said that the Bukhara regional stage hosted 67 weddings and 113 sunnat-toys (circumcision).
The ceremonies started with congratulations of the guests and project author Gulnara Karimova. During the weddings, pairs received various gifts.
While, boys received bicycles, toys and sport clothes from sponsors and organizers.
The weddings were continued with songs of popular Uzbek artists such as Zulayho Boyhonova, Abduhoshim Ismoilov, Sato band, and others.
Within the charity project “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-toys”, it is planned to hold 1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-toys across Uzbekistan. Currently, 477 weddings and 594 sunnat-toys were organized within the project.
Next stage of project will be held in Samarkand region (22-23 June), Jizzakh region (25-26 June) and Syrdarya region (28-29 June). Later, it is planned to hold project in Tashkent, Khorezm and Surkhandarya regions and Tashkent city.
