Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a working visit to the UK, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva met with a group of compatriots living in this country, studying at leading higher educational institutions and working in leading companies in the world.

During the open dialogue, the tasks set for the development of the country in the development strategy of New Uzbekistan were discussed, as well as the reforms currently being carried out in various areas and their goals.

During the conversation, participants shared their achievements and plans, including other projects that serve to expand the activities of the EBRD program for our country and strengthen cooperation with Uzbekistan.

During the friendly and sincere meeting, news about reforms and activities aimed at strengthening relations between the two states were discussed.

Compatriots also spoke about the national festival “Navruz”, which is planned to be held in the UK for the second time. Last year the festival attracted more than 25 thousand participants. It was noted that this year the second festival dedicated to Uzbek culture and traditions will again unite everyone.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on various spheres of life in our country and proposals were made that serve as an impetus for development. Compatriots expressed their readiness to make their worthy contribution to the development of our country.
