Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has passed to the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is stated in the New Delhi Declaration of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO Member States.
The SCO member states highly appreciated the results of the chairmanship of the Republic of India in the SCO in 2022-2023, which contributed to the further strengthening of the Organization and the development of multifaceted mutually beneficial cooperation.
“The chairmanship in the SCO for the coming period is transferred to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The next meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the SCO Member States will be held in 2024 in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the declaration says.
