Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has approved a law amending and supplementing the Law on State Duty.

According to the amendments, business entities and other legal entities will be exempt from paying the state duty for re-registration in cases of changes to their location (postal address) due to the formation or liquidation of administrative-territorial units, changes in their boundaries, or subordination.

Additionally, the law provides for the exemption of policyholders from paying state duty when filing lawsuits related to compulsory insurance contracts. This provision applies to both civil and economic courts, where the plaintiffs are policyholders, insured individuals, beneficiaries, or victims.

The law will come into effect from the date of its official publication.
