CERR: Trade of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries for January-September 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The CIS countries account for more than a third of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover, or 38.8%. In January-September 2022, the CIS countries accounted for more than a third or 38.8% of the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the share of the CIS countries in the total foreign trade turnover in January-September 2022 decreased by 0.1% compared to the corresponding period in 2021, while the share of other foreign countries increased by 0.1%, respectively, and amounted to 61.2%.

According to the results of January-September 2022, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the CIS countries increased by 27.5% and amounted to US$14.0 billion, of which: exports increased by 46.1% to US$5.5 billion, and imports - by 17 .6% to US$8.4 billion.

The largest volumes of foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries were recorded with Russia (46.9%), Kazakhstan (23.4%) and Kyrgyzstan (6.2%).
