Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new wide-body Airbus A330-300 (registration number UK33031) was officially welcomed at Tashkent International Airport, marking the third aircraft of this type to join the fleet of Centrum Air. The acquisition reflects the airline’s strategic commitment to strengthening its international footprint.
The new aircraft will serve high-demand and strategically important destinations, including Seoul, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Istanbul, Jeddah, and Medina.
The Airbus A330-300 accommodates 358 passengers and is equipped with modern cabin features such as ergonomic seating, advanced lighting systems, and enhanced amenities for long-haul flights. These upgrades will provide greater comfort for travelers while boosting the carrier’s passenger capacity.
With three Airbus A330-300 aircraft now in its fleet, Centrum Air has a solid foundation for expanding its global route network, reinforcing its position in the intercontinental air travel market, and broadening its geographic reach.
“Receiving our third Airbus A330 is a symbol of our ambition and steady progress. Each new aircraft brings fresh opportunities — new destinations, new levels of service, and new travel experiences for our passengers. We want flights from Uzbekistan to major cities across Asia and the Middle East to be not only more accessible but also more comfortable. Centrum Air is building a future where travel is not a luxury, but a natural part of life,” said Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, Founder and CEO of Centrum Air.
