Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of the EBRD and other interested agencies to discuss the upcoming mission to provide technical assistance on the implementation of a platform for analyzing data on women’s entrepreneurship.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of a preliminary assessment of the existing capacities of ministries and departments to collect, analyze and use data disaggregated by gender.

During the assessment, the parties agreed to introduce a platform for reporting on gender equality in the country, which will allow making more effective decisions in the development of women’s entrepreneurship and creating the first national report on gender inclusiveness in the country.

Following the meeting, the proposals of the EBRD representatives in terms of technical support were accepted and the planned work to be carried out within the framework of future cooperation was agreed.
