Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of management with representatives of the EBRD headed by Axel van Nederveen, Managing Director of the EBRD Treasury Department, was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of the Central Bank, during the dialogue, the parties discussed the issues of hedging currency risks by conducting swap operations.

The meeting also discussed issues of cooperation in forecasting the liquidity of the domestic money market. The EBRD representatives stressed the success of the measures taken by the Central Bank to reduce inflation.

At the same time, representatives of the regulator focused on the importance of joint work to improve the functioning of the new department of the Central Bank for financial stability.

Following the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation on the further development of the country's money market.
