Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training seminar on "Information security for heads of financial institutions" was held at the Central Bank with the assistance of the Kaspersky Lab company.

During the event, an exchange of views took place on the relevance of information and cybersecurity, as well as on the work done in this direction, existing problems and shortcomings. At the seminar, various interactive sessions were held to improve the knowledge and qualifications of the heads of all commercial banks in the republic.

During the exercise, the participants received important information about typical cyberattacks on the financial sector of Central Asia, and also underwent practical training in the format of a business game with elements of computer simulation. To protect the business, participants had to make strategic, managerial, and technical decisions while respecting operational constraints and maintain high margins.

As a result of the training, it was noted that during the simulation, the management of commercial banks made the right decisions to prevent the negative consequences of cyberattacks.

The knowledge gained from this workshop will help employees, especially managers, make timely decisions to ensure information security, while preventing fraud and taking cybersecurity measures.
