Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place between the leadership of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Yasir Abdih.
During the meeting, they discussed the current macroeconomic conditions in the country, monetary policy, the state of the banking system, and financial performance for the first eight months of the year.
Additionally, the updated forecasts from the Central Bank, based on anticipated macroeconomic developments, were reviewed.
As part of the IMF mission, meetings are also planned with various ministries and agencies, as well as commercial banks.
